Princess Festival

I took the girls to the princess festival today. It was a charity thing at Hatfieldadelphia. It's a place built by a man named Ron Hatfield for his children and grandchildren. There is a castle, cabin, park, play things, etc. It is a child's dream place basically. The girls got to go on a little adventure with the blue fairy from Pinocchio. The rescued Snow White from the witch, helped Rapunzel get out of the tower, change the beast back into a prince for Belle, got Cinderella to the ball, and woke Sleeping Beauty. When they were by Sleeping Beauty, Prince Philip told all the girls to shake the bed to wake her up. After they all shook the bed, Kaitlyn says, "Hey you have to kiss her, duh!" and Maya says, "Yeah, that's how the story goes!" Which he of course did.
It was pretty cute. Kaitlyn got to dance with Prince Philip at the ball.
She got to meet Maleficent (whom she loves from Sleeping Beauty). All of the princesses danced with their princes at the ball. They got to take pictures and hang out with all their favorite princesses
and then got a pearl necklace at the end. It is so easy to please little girls when it comes to the princesses! It wasn't cheap to do this, but it was for charity and the girls haven't stopped talking about it all day! I am sure we will be going again next year!
